Alvin Lee (Nottingham, 19 dicembre 1944) è un chitarrista, cantante e compositore britannico.
È noto per aver fondato ed aver fatto parte della band Ten Years After.
Inizia molto giovane ad esibirsi, formando presto la celebre band.
Con i Ten Years After nel 1969 partecipa al festival di Woodstock.
Nel 1973 Alvin lascia la band per poter lavorare da solista, per poi riformarla nel 1989 pur sempre continuando il suo progetto solista.
Le sue principali ispirazioni sono Chuck Berry e Scotty Moore, leggendario chitarrista entrato nella Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
